Normalment solem publicar articles escrits per fisioterapeutes, terapeutes ocupacionals, metges etc. No \u00e9s habitual que tinguem la sort de poder compartir experi\u00e8ncies d’usuaris, per aix\u00f2 quan ens ha arribat l’opini\u00f3 de l’Ana (estudiant de sis\u00e8 grau) hem sabut que ho hav\u00edem de compartir, el seu terapeuta Jenny Cashion, ens explica:<\/p>\n

“L’ Ana, no havia tingut molta sort amb les experi\u00e8ncies que havia tingut amb els tricicles. Quan va provar el tricicle Rifton talla Gran, li va encantar! Es va sentir molt b\u00e9 i va ser capa\u00e7 de pedalar i manejar ella sola, est\u00e0 content\u00edssima.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ana t\u00e9 par\u00e0lisi cerebral amb to alt en cames i bra\u00e7os. Amb el tac abductor, la posici\u00f3 de les seves cames va ser la millor que havia pogut aconseguir pedalejant un tricicle. Era capa\u00e7 de mantenir la seva m\u00e0 al manillar tancat, i moure-mentre condu\u00efa. La posici\u00f3 de les rodes del darrere li va permetre utilitzar la seva visi\u00f3 perif\u00e8rica i prestar m\u00e9s atenci\u00f3 a l ‘ “espai”<\/p>\n

A l’escola, Ana va rebre el treball d’escriure una redacci\u00f3 opinant sobre algun producte. Naturalment, ella va triar el tricicle Rifton. Aquestes s\u00f3n les seves pr\u00f2pies paraules:<\/p>\n

Rifton ha inventat tricicles per a nens amb necessitats especials que s\u00f3n f\u00e0cils de muntar alhora que enforteixen els m\u00fasculs de les cames i milloren l’equilibri de l’usuari. Rifton diu que els seus tricicles s\u00f3n bonics, resistents\u00a0i ofereixen molts accessoris, colors i mides per ajudar els nens de totes les edats que tenen diferents discapacitats. El m\u00e9s important \u00e9s que els usuaris puguin gaudir d’aquesta activitat amb altres persones. Jo mateixa, amb discapacitat, he intentat i he estat incapa\u00e7 d’anar en una bicicleta convencional. \u00c9s per aix\u00f2 que aquest producte em va cridar l’atenci\u00f3. Jo personalment vaig muntar al tricicle la setmana passada i em va ser\u00a0molt f\u00e0cil d’accedir i em va donar molta confian\u00e7a de que no cauria. A m\u00e9s, hi ha accessoris que es poden posar i treure a mesura que el nen progressa. Per exemple, el suport lateral de tronc que ajuda a l’alineaci\u00f3 del tors. Tamb\u00e9 totes les cingles que ajuden a donar sensaci\u00f3 de seguretat. Tamb\u00e9, es pot ajustar el seient a la posici\u00f3 m\u00e9s c\u00f2moda. Tamb\u00e9, hi ha un tac abductor que mant\u00e9 les cames separades que es pot retirar per baixar del tricicle.
